Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources indicate Dallas will remain under a strong high-pressure ridge on September 6, 2026, with southerly flow and minimal cloud cover sustaining overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s. This setup favors 80–81°F as the most likely minimum, consistent with the market’s leading 30.5% implied probability, while recent model runs show limited cooling potential absent a stronger front or increased moisture. Historical September averages near 74°F highlight the current anomaly driven by persistent warmth and high dew points near 70°F. Traders weigh these signals against possible late-day adjustments in guidance, with next NWS updates and regional observations likely to refine resolution odds ahead of the close.
