If the listed company merges with another entity, is acquired, or ceases to exist before the market resolves, the market will also resolve to "No". The IPO refers to the first sale of stock by the listed company to the public on any recognized stock exchange. If the listed company undergoes a merger, this will only qualify for a “No” resolution if the transaction results in the listed company being fully absorbed, dissolved, or otherwise no longer capable of independently conducting an Initial Public Offering. Transactions in which the listed company continues as a parent or successor will not alone qualify for a “No” resolution. This market will resolve early if the listed company completes an IPO by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. The resolution source for this market is a consensus of credible reporting.Robust equity market conditions and sustained investor demand for high-growth companies, especially in artificial intelligence and technology, are driving elevated IPO activity through the second half of 2026. U.S. issuance in the first half already surpassed prior-year totals by a wide margin, with dozens of deals pricing in recent weeks amid supportive valuations and reduced volatility. A deep pipeline of later-stage firms, including anticipated large offerings from AI leaders, benefits from ample dry powder and expectations around regulatory easing. Persistent inflation and a data-dependent Federal Reserve stance on rates remain watchpoints that could influence timing, yet current momentum points to continued listings before year-end. Traders should monitor upcoming economic releases and equity market breadth for shifts in sentiment.
