Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate an overnight low of 77–80°F for Dallas on September 18 under mostly clear skies and light southerly flow. This consensus drives the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 78–83°F bins, reflecting warm advection and elevated dew points that limit nocturnal cooling compared with the 69°F climatological average. Recent days have featured similar upper-70s to low-80s minima amid a persistent hot, dry pattern with highs near 100°F. Traders weigh potential model revisions overnight and local urban heat-island effects against the risk of slightly cooler readings if winds calm more than expected. Updated guidance from the evening forecast cycle remains the next key input before resolution.
