Forecast models from official Chinese meteorological sources and international agencies project a high near 26°C in Qingdao on September 17 under mostly cloudy skies, southeasterly winds of 3–4 on the Beaufort scale, and moderate humidity that limits daytime heating. Recent observations show warmer conditions on September 15–16 with highs reaching 27–29°C under clearer skies, creating trader uncertainty about whether residual warmth or slight model spreads could push the daily maximum to 27–28°C. Historical September averages for the coastal Shandong site hover around 26°C, and the market-implied probabilities reflect this narrow range amid typical short-term forecast variability in transitional monsoon patterns. Updated runs from agencies like the China Meteorological Administration will refine guidance ahead of the date.
