Recent forecast models from sources like the GFS project a daily high near 28°C for Shanghai on September 15 under partly cloudy skies and steady northeast winds of 10–13 mph, with minimal precipitation risk and dew points supporting moderate humidity around 45–65%. This aligns with climatological norms for mid-September in the region, where highs typically range 27–29°C absent strong frontal systems or subtropical ridge shifts. Trader consensus, reflected in the 63.5% implied probability for 28°C and 30.5% for 27°C, incorporates these stable conditions and limited model spread, while the low odds for 29°C or higher reflect the absence of warming factors like southerly flow or clear-sky amplification. Updated guidance through the evening of September 14 reinforces this narrow range ahead of final observations.
