Multiple candidates are contesting the Cusco provincial mayoral race, with trader odds clustered tightly around the leading names due to vote fragmentation across more than a dozen registered contenders. William Peña Farfán, the incumbent Wanchaq mayor running under Perú Primero, has gained visibility through recent campaign caravans and public statements, while Víctor Vidal Pino Zambrano and others maintain comparable positioning ahead of the vote. Local factors including tourism management, infrastructure projects, and party alliances continue to shape support, with no dominant polling consensus yet established. Upcoming registration deadlines and early campaign events could consolidate backing or shift implied probabilities among the field.
