Latest MetService and international model consensus for Wellington on September 11 projects a daytime maximum near 13–14 °C under mostly sunny skies after a frontal system clears on the 10th, with moderate northwest winds limiting further warming. Springtime solar angles and typical September climatology support this range, though small shifts in cloud cover or wind timing could push the peak to 15 °C or hold it at 13 °C. Market-implied odds cluster tightly around these values because traders incorporate the latest model runs and historical forecast skill, with the 15 °C outcome leading due to its alignment with ensemble means and recent model consistency. Updated guidance expected before resolution will likely refine the precise threshold.
