Thomas Massie holds a clear edge in trader consensus at 64.5% implied probability to win Kentucky's 4th Congressional District Republican primary on May 19, buoyed by his strong name recognition, fundraising superiority, and history of fending off challengers despite past Trump opposition. Trump-backed Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein trails at 37.1% amid a tight race, propelled by the president's endorsement targeting Massie's independent votes against party-line measures like spending bills. A Quantus Insights poll released May 13 showed Gallrein leading 48.3%-43.1% among likely voters, with undecideds breaking 2-to-1 his way—a shift from April surveys favoring Massie—though traders appear skeptical of the late momentum amid early voting underway. Minor candidates Nicole Lee Ethington and Robert Wells Jr. register negligible support.
