Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.Rebecca Bennett holds a commanding lead in the NJ-07 Democratic primary race ahead of the June 2 vote, driven by endorsements from four of the six county party organizations and a substantial fundraising edge that has produced over $2.6 million raised with strong cash reserves. Recent developments, including a May 13 debate among all four candidates and VoteVets advertising support, have reinforced her position without altering the competitive dynamics for the others. Brian Varela benefits from self-funding and backing in the remaining counties, while Michael Roth and Tina Shah trail with narrower institutional support and limited PAC activity. Traders appear to view these factors as creating durable separation in the closely watched contest to challenge the Republican incumbent.
