The Pernambuco Senate race for the two seats remains highly competitive for second place due to a fragmented field of 12 candidates, with Marília Arraes frequently leading polls while several others cluster closely behind in the teens and low 20s. Recent candidate registrations finalized in early August 2026, alongside alliances tied to Governor Raquel Lyra and party shifts such as Túlio Gadêlha’s PSD move, have sustained dispersion in voter intentions across surveys from Real Time Big Data, Paraná Pesquisas, and others. No single contender has consolidated the remaining vote share after the likely first-place finisher, leaving outcomes sensitive to turnout patterns, regional strongholds in Recife versus the interior, and last-minute campaign momentum before October. This structure keeps implied probabilities elevated and clustered for multiple names.
