Latest forecast models from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and ECMWF consensus indicate a highest temperature near 16–17°C in Helsinki on September 10, with the market’s tight 38.5%–32.5% split between those outcomes reflecting modest ensemble spread. A passing warm front and light southerly flow are supporting daytime maxima slightly above the early-September climatological mean of about 15°C, while variable cloud cover and timing of any showers introduce the main uncertainty in peak readings. Traders are weighting the most recent high-resolution runs that keep the daily high in this narrow band, with lower probabilities assigned to 15°C or 18°C reflecting smaller chances of stronger cooling or clearer skies. Updated model guidance expected within 24 hours will likely sharpen resolution criteria around the official FMI observation.

To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
