Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus project a high of 95–97°F in Houston on September 23 under persistent high pressure, mostly sunny skies, and light winds, with heat indices exceeding 105°F and minimal rain chances. This places the day well above the late-September average of roughly 88°F. Trader consensus, reflected in the 52% implied probability on 94–95°F and 25% on 96–97°F, incorporates minor forecast spread, official station measurement timing, and slight cooling potential from sea-breeze effects or model adjustments. Updated guidance through the next 48 hours will refine the precise maximum before resolution.
