Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to a high near 70–72°F in Central Park on September 19 as a cool northeast flow develops behind departing high pressure, advecting maritime air across the region and limiting daytime heating under partly cloudy skies. This onshore regime, with winds shifting easterly at 8–10 mph, caps temperatures well below the 80–82°F readings of September 17–18 and aligns closely with the market’s leading 70–71°F bin at 52.5% implied probability. Ensemble consensus shows little spread around this range, though minor variations in cloud cover or wind timing could nudge readings into the 72–73°F tier (28.5%) or hold them at 68–69°F (15.5%). Updated NHC and local model runs through Friday evening will refine the final daytime maximum ahead of resolution.
