Recent National Weather Service forecasts for New York City on September 17 project a mostly sunny day with a daytime high near 82°F under southwest flow, positioning the 82-83°F bin as the market leader. Milder air advection and limited cloud cover support this outcome, consistent with model consensus showing highs clustered between 80-85°F. Historical September averages around 75-78°F provide context, while minor model spread on afternoon mixing and wind speeds introduces uncertainty that traders weigh when pricing adjacent bins like 80-81°F and 84-85°F. Updated NWS guidance and local observations on the 16th and 17th will refine these implied probabilities before resolution.
