Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model consensus point to an overnight low in the upper 50s for Denver on September 17, driven by increased cloud cover, scattered thunderstorms, and moderating southerly flow ahead of a weak frontal passage. These conditions limit radiational cooling compared to clear, calm nights, while dew points near 50–55°F and light winds further support minimum temperatures around 57–59°F. The closely matched market odds near 60–65°F reflect remaining uncertainty in convective timing and exact cloud persistence, with historical September lows averaging near 50°F but recent warm anomalies elevating baselines. Traders will watch the next model runs and evening NWS updates for shifts in boundary-layer moisture or steering patterns that could push the low higher or lower.
