**Trader consensus on the Polymarket for Los Angeles's highest temperature on September 15, 2026, settled decisively on the 80-81°F bin at 100% implied probability.** This outcome matches official observations from National Weather Service stations, including Los Angeles International Airport and downtown sites, where the daily maximum reached approximately 80°F under partly cloudy conditions with light to moderate southeast and southwest winds. The reading sits modestly above the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 76.3°F for the date, reflecting typical late-summer marine layer moderation rather than extreme heat. No significant atmospheric drivers such as offshore winds or strong high pressure pushed temperatures higher, keeping values within the narrow 80-81°F range. Market resolution criteria focus on verified maximum observations, and the near-certain pricing leaves little room for revision unless post-event data audits reveal an unexpected station discrepancy.
