Recent forecast guidance from regional models points to daytime highs in Manila on September 17 likely reaching the low 30s Celsius amid the ongoing southwest monsoon, with high humidity, scattered thunderstorms, and variable cloud cover acting as key moderators. Afternoon convection and rainfall, typical for September, tend to limit extreme peaks while still allowing brief periods of stronger insolation to push maxima toward 31–32°C. Historical climatology shows mid-September averages near 31°C, providing context for why traders assign the highest implied probability to 32°C while still pricing meaningful chances for 30–31°C outcomes. Updated model runs closer to the date will refine steering winds and precipitation timing.
