Current National Weather Service forecasts show overnight lows for Dallas on September 20 centered in the mid-70s, with early-morning readings near 78°F under southerly flow and the subsequent night potentially dipping to 74°F amid increasing clouds and a 30-40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. These conditions limit radiative cooling compared to clear, calm nights, while above-average late-summer warmth and dew points in the mid-60s sustain minimum temperatures. Model consensus supports a daily low most likely between 74°F and 78°F, explaining the tight clustering of market-implied probabilities across the 72-81°F bins and the low odds assigned to extremes outside historical September norms. Updated model runs and evening observations will refine the exact minimum before resolution.
