Latest forecast models from regional agencies point to a daytime high of 32–33°C in Manila on September 20, consistent with trader consensus reflected in the leading implied probabilities. Persistent southwest monsoon flow, high humidity near 75–85%, and scattered afternoon thunderstorms are expected to moderate peak heating, while variable cloud cover introduces uncertainty in the exact maximum. These conditions align with September climatology, where Manila highs typically range 30–32°C amid frequent convective activity. Model differences in precipitation timing and intensity create the tight spread between 32°C and 33°C outcomes, with limited upside risk above 34°C absent clearer skies. Updated PAGASA guidance and morning observations on September 20 will refine the final reading.
