Current forecasts from Malaysian meteorological sources and international models project a minimum temperature of 25–26°C for Kuala Lumpur on September 16, consistent with the closely matched market-implied odds near 26–27°C. In this equatorial setting, overnight radiative cooling is limited by high humidity, widespread cloud cover, and light winds, which reduce the typical drop from daytime peaks of 32–34°C. September’s climatological baseline shows average lows near 24°C, but recent haze and thunderstorm activity have moderated cooling. Traders appear focused on whether partial clearing tonight allows a dip to 25°C or holds the minimum at 26–27°C, with official station readings expected to resolve the market.
