Consensus forecasts from meteorological models project a high of 29–30°C in Wuhan on September 15 under mostly cloudy skies and light northeast winds, tightening market-implied odds between those two outcomes at 32.5% and 34%. Recent cooling from prior highs near 32–34°C stems from increased cloud cover reducing solar insolation and limiting daytime heating, with official Chinese meteorological guidance aligning on this range. Historical September averages for the region hover near 28–30°C, and minimal precipitation expected supports stable conditions. Resolution depends on the official daily maximum recorded at local stations, with any late model shifts or unexpected clearing potentially favoring 31°C.
