Forecast models from agencies including the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and GFS runs indicate a maximum temperature of 18–19°C in Amsterdam on September 16 under westerly flow with scattered showers, aligning with the market's strong consensus on those two outcomes. Cooler Atlantic air and increased cloud cover have suppressed daytime heating compared with the 19.2°C climatological average high for the date. Recent model updates show limited spread, with most solutions keeping peaks below 20°C and only modest uncertainty around exact timing of any brief clearing that could allow a marginal rise. Traders appear to weigh this consensus against the possibility of slightly warmer or cooler realizations within the typical forecast error range for a 48-hour outlook.
