Morena maintains a commanding position in Nayarit party preference polling near 55 percent ahead of the June 2027 gubernatorial contest, yet the nomination process remains fluid and keeps the market tight. Geraldine Ponce Méndez leads at 47.5 percent implied probability while Héctor Javier Santana García sits at 36 percent, reflecting their close contest in recent internal surveys and the absence of a finalized Morena ticket. The broader field stays fragmented across dozens of lower-priced options because primary outcomes, coalition talks, and candidate withdrawals have not yet consolidated support. Scheduled polling releases, formal party selections, and any late endorsements could shift momentum and widen the gap between frontrunners before the vote.
