Morocco’s parliamentary elections on September 23, 2026, will determine the seat distribution among major parties and shape the King’s appointment of the next prime minister under the constitution. Trader prices remain tightly clustered because the three governing coalition partners—RNI led by Mohamed Chaouki, PAM with Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri in its collegiate leadership, and Istiqlal under Nizar Baraka—plus the recovering PJD headed by Abdelilah Benkirane all retain realistic paths to the largest bloc or a viable coalition. Recent campaign activity has centered on job creation pledges and economic delivery, while party leadership transitions and candidate slates have kept internal dynamics fluid without producing a clear frontrunner. The outcome hinges on turnout, regional strongholds, and post-election negotiations, leaving the field open until results clarify the balance of power.
