Recent polling shows President Trump's job approval hovering in the mid-to-high 30s amid persistent public dissatisfaction with inflation, gasoline prices, and the ongoing U.S. involvement in the Iran conflict, which continues to shape weekly sentiment. These economic and foreign policy pressures have contributed to modest erosion even among some conservative respondents, creating a narrow trader consensus that ratings are more likely to dip than rise in the immediate term. Short-term movements could hinge on any fresh economic indicators, diplomatic signals regarding the conflict, or administration announcements that either reinforce cost-of-living concerns or demonstrate progress on key voter priorities ahead of the November midterms.
