Recent forecasts from Pakistan Meteorological Department models and international sources indicate a cooling trend in Karachi following extreme heat that peaked at 40.7°C on September 21–22, driven by the dissipation of a blocking low-pressure system. Westerly winds and increasing sea breeze influence from the Arabian Sea, combined with partly cloudy skies, are expected to cap the September 25 maximum near 32–34°C. Historical September averages hover around 33°C, and current ensemble guidance shows low precipitation risk with humidity supporting moderate heat indices rather than record highs. Trader emphasis on 33–35°C outcomes aligns with this stabilization, though minor model variations in cloud cover or wind strength could shift the exact peak by 1°C before resolution.
