Recent station observations, however, have consistently peaked at 32–33 °C under similar fair-weather patterns, keeping the 32 °C outcome dominant in trader positioning. Singapore’s equatorial climate features stable year-round temperatures moderated by high humidity and afternoon convection; the current pattern deviates modestly from the long-term August average high of roughly 31–32 °C. Official readings from the Changi climate station and other sites will determine resolution, with any late-day thunderstorm activity capable of capping the peak.
