Ant Middleton is scheduled to climb from Base Camp to the summit of Everest, beginning Sunday, May 17, 2026. This market will resolve according to the amount of time that it takes Ant Middleton to reach the summit. Middleton's climb will begin when the event's official timer begins, and considered completed when that timer marks its end point. If no timer is available, the climb will begin when he leaves Base Camp, and considered completed when he places a flag at the summit of Mt. Everest. If Ant Middleton reaches the summit and places the flag in a time that falls exactly between two listed brackets, this market will resolve to the longer time bracket. If Ant Middleton's summit attempt is canceled, postponed after June 30, 2026, abandoned before completion, or otherwise not completed within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Not Completed". The resolution source for this market will be the livestream of Middleton's climb (including footage of his stopwatch if available); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The recent fixing of ropes to Everest’s summit on May 13 has opened a narrow weather window for Ant Middleton’s south-side bid alongside Nimsdai and Elite Exped guides, creating the primary driver behind the evenly matched trader odds across every timeframe and the “Not Completed” option. Middleton’s recent base-camp trek with his family has left him partially acclimatized yet still facing the standard rotation demands and potential jet-stream delays that can stretch a push from three days to more than six. With his proven high-altitude experience from K2 offset by the mountain’s notorious variability and the tight May calendar, traders see realistic paths to each listed outcome, underscoring how quickly conditions can shift before the next viable summit slot.
