Gubernatorial elections are currently scheduled to be held in Nuevo León on June 6, 2027. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2027 Nuevo León gubernatorial elections. Any interim or caretaker Governor will not qualify. If the results are not known definitively by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results as reported by government sources of Nuevo León and Mexico, including the Electoral Institute of Nuevo León and the National Electoral Institute of Mexico. The 2027 Nuevo León gubernatorial election remains more than ten months from its likely June date, producing a fragmented field where trader prices reflect broad uncertainty across dozens of potential candidates. Early polling from mid-2026 shows no dominant frontrunner, with Movimiento Ciudadano figures such as Mariana Rodríguez Cantú and Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas posting leads in some head-to-head scenarios, while Morena aspirants including Andrés Mijes Llovera, Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo, and Clara Luz Flores Carrales compete internally. PRI-linked names like Adrián de la Garza Santos also register competitive support. Tatiana Clouthier’s March 2026 announcement of interest in the Morena nomination and subsequent surveys tracking party preferences have kept probabilities tightly bunched, as internal selections, coalition alignments, and voter priorities on the economy and security have yet to consolidate support for any single contender.
