Recent expulsions of Iranian diplomats by the United States, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon occurred between December 2025 and early April 2026 amid elevated regional tensions and mutual designations of personnel as persona non grata. Since those actions, no new formal expulsions or related diplomatic ruptures have been announced in the subsequent weeks, aligning with trader consensus that another such move is unlikely before the June 30 resolution date. Ongoing U.S.-Iran diplomatic contacts and absence of fresh triggers in the past month have reinforced expectations of stability in bilateral relations and personnel status through the summer.
