Recent polling trends position the Sweden Democrats as the clear frontrunner for second place in the September 13, 2026, Riksdag election, with consistent leads of 2–4 percentage points over the Moderate Party across major surveys through July. The Social Democrats maintain a commanding first-place position near 32%, while SD support has held steady near 20% and Moderates hover around 17%, reflecting limited movement in the past month. The current Tidö-supported government arrangement and coalition dynamics have not altered these relative standings, as voters continue to rank SD ahead in voting intentions. This sustained gap in parliamentary preference surveys underpins the market's strong implied probability for SD in second.
