Flavio Bolsonaro's commanding position in Roraima first-round trading reflects the Liberal Party's entrenched regional strength and the Bolsonaro family brand in this northern border state. Jair Bolsonaro's endorsement of his son as the PL presidential nominee has consolidated conservative support, reinforced by local alliances including Senate candidate Hélio Lopes, who relocated to Roraima with explicit family backing. Roraima's voter base has historically favored right-wing candidates emphasizing security and federal alignment, giving Flavio a structural edge over national figures such as Lula. Recent national polling shows the race tightening overall, yet Roraima-specific dynamics have kept volatility low. Late developments including scandals or shifts in evangelical turnout could narrow margins, though current trader consensus indicates limited pathways for challengers absent major local disruptions before October.
