In the fragmented Tocantins Senate contest for the two seats up in Brazil’s October 2026 elections, trader pricing remains tightly clustered because no candidate has consolidated a commanding lead in a field of 13 registered contenders. Recent July polling showed Eduardo Gomes (PL) ahead at roughly 31 percent, with Alexandre Guimarães (MDB) and Carlos Gaguim (União Brasil) clustered behind, yet subsequent candidacy filings and limited new surveys have kept momentum dispersed among figures such as Fábio Ribeiro, Helio Rodrigues Bolsonaro, and others drawing single-digit or low-teen support. Party alliances, regional name recognition, and positioning ahead of the presidential race continue to shape preferences without decisive shifts. Further separation could emerge from additional state-level polling, formal coalition announcements, or campaign events that clarify voter blocs before the October 4 vote.
