Lula holds the strongest position in this Rio Grande do Norte first-round market at 79.5% implied probability, reflecting the incumbent president’s established base in Brazil’s Northeast, where PT support has historically run deep in state-level voting patterns. National polling averages from early August place Lula ahead of Flávio Bolsonaro and other contenders by double-digit margins in first-round scenarios, with regional dynamics in RN amplifying that edge. Lower-priced names such as Flavio Bolsonaro, Pablo Marçal, Ronaldo Caiado, and Ronaldo Caiado-aligned figures sit well behind, consistent with limited recent polling traction or campaign activity in the state. No major late-breaking developments in RN voting blocs or endorsements have shifted the trader consensus in the past month.
