The Quebec general election on October 5, 2026, features a closely contested race in Drummond–Bois-Francs under a revised electoral map that has shifted the riding from a prior CAQ stronghold toward greater competition. Incumbent Sébastien Schneeberger (CAQ) draws on established local networks and infrastructure investments, while Charles Page (PQ), a high-profile local alpinist announced in late August, benefits from provincial polling trends favoring his party. Myriam Cournoyer (PCQ), a repeat candidate, adds a conservative option that may fragment support. With nominations closing September 17 and limited additional confirmed candidacies, trader pricing reflects balanced uncertainty among the three main contenders, where modest shifts in turnout, late endorsements, or regional campaign momentum could determine the outcome.
