This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 28 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Recent official guidance and short-range forecasts position 32–33°C as the most probable outcomes for Singapore’s daily maximum temperature on August 28.** The National Environment Agency’s (NEA) fortnightly outlook for the second half of August explicitly states that daily maxima are likely to range between 33°C and 34°C on most days under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions, with a chance of reaching 35°C on a few days. This aligns with observed August 2026 temperatures, which have run about 1.7°C above the long-term average and frequently reached 33–34.3°C. Short-term model guidance for August 28 shows highs generally forecast near 31–33°C (roughly 88–90°F), with partly cloudy skies, southeasterly winds, and a moderate chance of afternoon thundershowers that typically limit extreme heating. The combination of seasonal monsoon flow, reduced rainfall in recent weeks, and typical equatorial humidity keeps the distribution tightly centered on 32–33°C while assigning low probability to outliers below 31°C or above 34°C. Market-implied odds closely track this consensus, reflecting traders’ incorporation of the latest NEA outlook and numerical weather predictions. New model runs or the next 24-hour forecast update could refine the precise peak value.
