Ruth González Silva holds a leading trader consensus around 59% for the June 2027 San Luis Potosí gubernatorial race, reflecting her status as the sitting PVEM senator and spouse of incumbent Governor Ricardo Gallardo, along with early party signals favoring her nomination. PVEM leadership has publicly reinforced her profile as standard-bearer, even as the party weighs going alone after coalition talks with Morena-PT stalled over internal eligibility rules tied to family succession. Other listed contenders, including Gerardo Sánchez Zumaya, Rosa Icela Rodríguez Velázquez, and lower-probability names, trail amid limited early polling and weaker visible infrastructure. Recent state legislative changes shortening precampaign windows and ongoing internal party discussions could alter positioning ahead of formal nominations and the vote.
