**Chris Hill holds a commanding position in the 2026 Collin County Judge race.** As the Republican incumbent first elected in 2018, Hill secured the GOP nomination in the March 3 primary with 78.3% of the vote against challenger Rick Grady, demonstrating strong party support ahead of the November 3 general election. His Democratic opponent, John R. "Buster" Brown, advanced unopposed in the Democratic primary. Collin County’s consistent Republican tilt in recent cycles underpins trader consensus around Hill’s high implied probability, reflecting the structural advantages of incumbency and primary performance in a countywide contest for the chief executive role on the Commissioners Court. No major late developments have altered the matchup since the primaries.
