This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the nomination for the Republican Party to contest the Wyoming At-Large congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. The Republican primary will take place on August 18, 2026. If no nominee is announced by November 3, 2026, 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Republican sources, including https://www.rnc.org/. Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market. The crowded Republican primary for Wyoming’s at-large U.S. House seat features more than ten declared candidates, including Secretary of State Chuck Gray, Senate President Bo Biteman, former state Superintendent Jillian Balow, and self-funded contenders such as Steve Friess and Reid Rasner. With the August 18 primary less than a month away, recent candidate forums and limited early polling show fragmented support and no dominant frontrunner, keeping implied probabilities tightly clustered. Name recognition among sitting or recent statewide officeholders, personal loans to campaigns, and debate performances on issues such as federal spending and energy policy have so far failed to produce decisive separation. Further joint appearances, additional polling, endorsements, or shifts in voter turnout patterns could consolidate support behind one or two contenders ahead of the vote.
