National Weather Service guidance points to a persistent marine layer and onshore flow moderating temperatures across Los Angeles on September 3, supporting the market's heaviest positioning on 76-77°F and 78-79°F outcomes. Recent Global Forecast System and European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts runs show daytime maxima likely remaining near or slightly below the 78°F September climatological average, with limited warming from high pressure and no strong offshore wind events expected. Traders are incorporating these model consensus signals alongside historical variability in coastal Southern California, where marine influence often caps peaks even during late-summer periods. Updated National Weather Service briefings and next model cycles will provide the final inputs for resolution.
