In the Tocantins federal Senate race for two seats on October 4, 2026, trader consensus reflects a fragmented field where Eduardo Gomes holds a polling edge for first place while multiple contenders vie for second. Recent candidacy registrations closed in mid-August, with Irajá Abreu’s withdrawal consolidating some support but leaving names like Alexandre Guimarães, Carlos Gaguim, Eli Borges, and Professor Osvaldo in close contention per available surveys. The tight implied probabilities stem from similar vote-share bases among these candidates, limited recent polling differentiation, and Brazil’s multi-candidate dynamics where turnout, regional alliances, and late campaign shifts can reorder placements. Developments such as party coalitions, additional candidate exits, or updated statewide surveys could separate the pack before election day.
