Recent National Weather Service and private model runs indicate overnight lows in Miami on August 30 will likely settle between 78°F and 82°F amid persistent easterly flow, high dew points near 77–80°F, and limited nocturnal radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies with scattered showers. These conditions suppress the typical 10–12°F diurnal range seen in drier regimes, keeping minimum temperatures above the long-term August average of 77.5°F. The near-even market split between the 78–79°F and 80–81°F bins reflects small forecast discrepancies in cloud cover and wind mixing through the boundary layer. Updated NHC and local mesoscale guidance expected overnight will likely determine whether cooling reaches the lower or upper edge of that range.
