Official forecasts from the National Weather Service place Dallas highs near 100°F on September 11 amid persistent southerly flow and a strong upper-level ridge, with heat indices potentially reaching 109°F. Recent model runs show limited spread around this value, though isolated afternoon cloud cover or weak boundaries could trim the peak by a degree or two. Historical September averages near 91°F underscore the anomalous warmth, while low precipitation chances keep conditions mostly clear. Traders weigh these NWS and ensemble outputs against possible late-day adjustments, with the tight clustering of 96–99°F and 100–101°F buckets reflecting remaining forecast uncertainty two days out.
