The market's unanimous positioning on a 70-71°F high for San Francisco on September 6 reflects the confirmed maximum temperature recorded by National Weather Service stations, consistent with the day's marine layer influence and typical late-summer coastal moderation. Official observations from primary reporting sites established this range as the verified peak, aligning with historical September baselines for the area and leaving no room for alternative outcomes once data collection concluded. Trader consensus, backed by real capital, treats these measurements as definitive for market resolution. Only a post hoc revision in official records or an undetected microclimate anomaly at the exact observation point could realistically shift the result.
