Current short-range forecast models from sources including the National Weather Service indicate Seattle's overnight low on September 2 will likely fall in the mid-50s°F amid an approaching frontal system, southerly flow, and periods of rain that limit radiational cooling. This aligns closely with the long-term climatological average low of 55.1°F for the date while explaining why market-implied probabilities cluster tightly around the 50–61°F outcome bins. Model consensus remains moderate given the two-day lead time, with potential for small revisions depending on the exact timing of precipitation and wind speeds; traders monitor updated National Weather Service guidance and ensemble spreads for any shifts in minimum temperature expectations.
