**Official forecasts from the National Weather Service Miami office and other models indicate a typical late-August pattern for Miami on August 29, with daytime highs expected in the lower 90s.** Easterly winds of 5–10 mph, high humidity, and a 50–60% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms are likely to moderate peak temperatures through cloud cover and evaporative cooling, positioning the most probable outcome near 90°F. This aligns closely with climatological normals (average daily high ~90°F for the period) and recent model runs showing no strong high-pressure ridge or suppressing convection that would push readings into the mid-90s. The market’s heavy weighting toward the 90–91°F and 92–93°F bins (combined ~84.5% implied probability) reflects this consensus, while lower-probability tails account for minor forecast variability from storm timing or localized heating. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon model runs will provide the next key data points before resolution.
