**Trader consensus on the San Francisco daily high for September 13, 2026, centers on the 68–71°F range (93% combined implied probability), reflecting current National Weather Service and private forecast guidance showing a high near or slightly below the 1991–2020 climatological average of 70.8°F.** Onshore northwesterly winds of 10–30 mph, driven by the typical Pacific high-pressure setup and coastal marine layer, are advecting cooler air and suppressing temperatures despite September’s seasonal peak. Recent model runs and observations indicate mostly sunny skies with minimal cloud cover, supporting a peak in the upper 60s to low 70s. A sharp cooldown followed the extreme 94°F reading on September 9, with highs of 76°F on the 10th and continued moderation under persistent westerly flow. Historical analogs for post-heat-wave September days in San Francisco rarely exceed 75°F without offshore wind reversal, keeping the 72°F+ tails at low single-digit probabilities. Resolution will hinge on the official maximum reported by the downtown or airport station; no significant model disagreement or late-day warming signal has emerged to shift the market away from the near-normal 68–71°F bin.
