The Amazonas Senate race for two seats features a crowded field of nine registered candidates, with incumbents Eduardo Braga (MDB) and Plínio Valério (PSDB) joined by challengers including Capitão Alberto Neto (PL), Wilson Lima (União Brasil), and others. Early August polls indicate Neto holding a lead while Braga trails closely, yet the contest for second place remains fragmented with no dominant contender emerging. This dynamic sustains broad trader consensus around 44-50% implied probabilities across multiple names, as vote splitting and limited polling data leave several paths open for consolidation or surges. Upcoming debates, party alliances, and further surveys through October could clarify positioning ahead of the single-round vote.
