The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Buckley Space Force Base Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/co/aurora/KBKF. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Official National Weather Service observations recorded a maximum of 88°F at Denver on August 18, locking in the market's 100% consensus on the 88-89°F bin. This outcome aligned with NWS and ensemble model guidance showing modest warming above the 87°F seasonal normal under mostly sunny skies, light southeast flow, and moderate dew points that limited mixing and supported incremental afternoon heat buildup. Historical August climatology and recent model runs had narrowed expectations to the upper 80s–low 90s range, with the precise measurement reflecting typical late-summer boundary-layer conditions without significant convective cooling. Only major forecast busts or station data revisions could have altered resolution.
