Recent short-term forecasts from sources like WeatherBug and Weather Atlas indicate mostly sunny conditions over Denver on September 2, 2026, with daytime highs projected between 83–90°F amid light easterly or southeasterly winds and minimal cloud cover or precipitation. This aligns with the NOAA Climate Prediction Center’s September outlook favoring above-normal temperatures across the Intermountain West, supported by strengthening El Niño conditions and positive long-term temperature trends. Historical averages near 84°F provide context, but current model consensus points to a warmer anomaly that positions the 88–91°F range as the most probable outcome. Market-implied odds reflect this by concentrating probability on those bins, while lower ranges account for potential cooling from late-day mixing or model variability. Updated NWS guidance ahead of the date remains the key near-term catalyst for any shifts.
